The Hebrew language is both ancient and modern.  It is the language of the Bible and the Talmud and of Jewish prayer. It is also a vibrant modern language used by poets and authors of fiction and nonfiction. Reading in the original language is always a pleasure. This library guide provides links to full-text books, databases and periodicals available at the New York Public Library and on the Internet.  There are also useful links for learning Hebrew and for tools for searching the internet and catalog in Hebrew.
