- Business Insights: EssentialsClick on "Industries" tab and select "All Industries" or "Industry Essays" or "Plunkett Reports" to find industry surveys. Note: This database is accessible from home with an NYPL library card.
- Business Source Complete This link opens in a new windowTo find industry profiles use the Advanced Search option. Type a keyword to describe the industry and then limit your results by "publication type" to Industry Profile. This database includes Worldwide Industry Market reports from C. Barnes & Co. and MarketLine reports. This database is accessible from home with a library card.
- First ResearchAvailable as a separate database or as part of Mergent Intellect. Industry profiles include industry overview, recent developments, business challenges, trends and opportunities, executive insight,call preparation questions, financial and industry ratio's, industry forecast, web links and acronyms. Note: To download reports, use the Mergent Intellect version or Mergent Archives database to find the PDF's of First Research industry profiles.
- IBISWorldThis database is available in the Business Center only. Downloading is NOT permitted, but printing of individual sections of reports is allowed. IBISWorld includes industry and market research for the US, Global reports, and China.
- Mergent ArchivesClick to Search the Mergent Archives. On the next screen, from the tabbed choices along the top of screen, select either "Industry Reports" for Mergent Reports, or click "First Research" tab to find the PDF's of the First Research Industry Surveys.
- MergentOnlineClick the Tab on the menu for "Industry Analysis". On the next screen select an industry and click to the PDF for the industry report.
