Jewish Cookbooks: Digital Flavors

Ready to start cooking? Although most of the Jewish cookbooks are for onsite research use only, the Library also has digitized and electronic cookbooks, plus print books to check out.

Here are some options for finding digitized Jewish cookbooks:

3) Check out the South African Jewish Cookbook Project to browse cookbooks and read relevant articles. The project is based in part by research conducted at NYPL.

4)  Find cookbooks to check out with your Library card.

For ebooks, search the catalog for "Jewish cooking" and modify your search to ebook format.

For circulating print books, search the catalog for "Jewish cooking" and modify your search to "circulating" and print format. Place a hold and select the branch location where you want to pick up your book(s). The Library will notify you when the requested materials are ready.
