Online Real Estate Records /Building Information (New York City)

  • ACRIS (Automated New York City Register Information System) - allows you to search property records and view document images for Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn from 1966 to the present.

  • NYC Community District Profiles -This is your gateway to data, maps, and other resources describing New York City’s 59 community districts, each represented by a community board.

  • NYC Buildings Information System - information on the property, including recorded complaints and violations, actions, applications, and inspections.

  • NYC Department of Buildings - The Department of Buildings regulates the lawful use of over one million buildings and construction sites across NYC. It enforces the City’s Construction Codes, Zoning resolutions, and the New York State Multiple Dwelling Law.

  • NYC Department of Design and Construction Project Browser - construction projects by borough, zip code, Council district, and project code. Information includes project location, the scope of work, dollar value, and phase.

  • NYC Housing and Preservation Department's Building, Registration & Violation database - open complaints, violations, litigation, ERP charges, and building registration information.

  • Data and Lot Information The City Register records and maintains all official documents related to real estate, including deeds, mortgages, and leases, and has offices in every borough except for Staten Island, where the Office of the County Clerk provides these functions. All of the City Register’s records back to 1966 are maintained online in the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS).
