The collection of 206 manuscripts from the Bibliotheque Commemorative Mama Haidara in Timbuktu, Mali were loaned to John Hunwick, Professor of History and Religion, Northwestern University, with the hope that the manuscripts would received conservation treatment and be digitized in order to make them accessible via the Web.
