The Value Line Investment Survey had long been a popular and respected source for financial and investment information on companies and industries. Formerly kept in print at the library, it is now available online through the Value Line Research Center, onsite at the library, and from home with a New York Library Card. This guide will get you started using the database and its features.
You can access databases available from home from the library website. In your browser, go to:
This will show you an alphabetical list of all the databases available from the library. Click on "V" at the top of the page, and you will see a link to Value Line. Click on it; if you're accessing it from home, you'll be prompted for your New York Public Library card bar code number and PIN. Once entered, you're in! You can now use the database.
Note: Any database marked with the blue house icon is available from home. Others are only available at a library.
