  • New York City chapter-SCORE [score.org/newyorkcity]-provides FREE, in-depth business counseling for business owners and small businesses, providing assistance with starting a business, writing a business plan, and helping successful firms in planning for expansion. SCORE is a volunteer, non-profit association affiliated with the Small Business Administration.
     
  • Pace University Small Business Development Center [pacesbdc.org/]-is part of a statewide network created to help small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs launch or grow their business. Funded in part by the U. S. Small Business Administration and the State of New York, the Pace SBDC combines the resources of Pace University, the private sector, and government to enable small businesses to reach their full potential.
     
  • Start Small Think Big [startsmallthinkbig.org/]-the mission of this organization is to empower New York City’s most underserved individuals to start, maintain, and grow small businesses in order to accumulate assets, increase personal financial security, and contribute to the economy. Start Small provides access to a variety of resources for entrepreneurs and immigrants: small business financing, small business legal counseling, small business planning and operations, accounting and bookkeeping, tax, marketing and public relations, human resources, and government certification and contracting.
