Dr. Barbara Ann Teer
Dr. Barbara Ann Teer (1937-1998) founded the National Black Theatre in Harlem in 1968 and NBT is one of the oldest Black theater companies in New York City. Dr. Teer developed a method of training and performing called "TEER: Technology of the Soul".
