Searching for Materials from P&P on Digital Collections

Researchers can search NYPL Digital Collections using a general keyword search, which looks for all information associated with an image, including title, photographer, subject/topic, and more.

General keyword searches retrieve matches from all NYPL Divisions. After entering your search terms, you can find items in Schomburg Photographs and Prints by selecting the Division's name under the "Division" tab on the left side; this may require clicking "More" and/or filtering by keyword for the Division's name (see below).

Other filters that can narrow down searches include Topic, Name, Collection, Place, Genre, and Date Range.
