Artists' Books Collection (ABC) at NYPL: Access

Welcome! This guide will provide an overview about how to find Artists' Books in the Wallach Division of Art, Prints & Photographs

Access to The Artists' Book Collection

The Artists’ Books Collection is located within the Print Collection and is accessible through the Prints and Photographs Study Room (308). No prior appointments are necessary to see these artworks, which are retrieved upon request.

The Study Rooms (308) operating hours are from 1:00 pm to 5:45 pm, Mondays through Saturdays.

The Collection does not circulate and requires a NYPL Library Card for admission. If you do not have a card, you can apply for one online. The process is brief and the card can be retrieved on the day of your visit.
