Career assessments on Career Cruising
Career assessments are important tools that help individuals choose a job, an occupation, or a career that fits their interests, allowing them to use their skills or match their personalities. The Career Cruising database offers two career assessments: "The Matchmaker and My Skills Assessment" and "The Learning Styles Inventory." Access this database with your NYPL card and your PIN. After you log into the database, you have to create an account known as My Plan to take the career assessments.

- Career Cruising Career Cruising is a comprehensive bilingual (English and Spanish) interactive multimedia source which features profiles and information on hundreds of occupations, 2 and 4 year college and universities, and financial aid, including scholarship opportunities.
"Matchmaker and My Skills" Assessment
Answer questions about your likes and dislikes to find careers that match up with your interests.
