Index to the Schomburg clipping file (PDF)The Clipping File at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is composed essentially of periodical and newspaper clippings, although it also includes typescripts, broadsides, pamphlets, programs, book reviews, menus and ephemera of all kinds.
There are two indexes: One to the general file, and the other to the subjects relating to Africa.
The collection is on microfiche and comprises nearly 7,000 subject headings, including Kwame Nkrumah, Gold Coast, Ghana, African colonization, African liberation movements, and many more.
