You can use several of NYPL's online databases to research information on executives, including their work history, education, and their current or past financial compensation.
For public companies, Information on an executive's financial compensation is generally reported in the company's annual proxy statement, which is filed with the SEC as a DEF14A document.
- BloombergOur Bloomberg terminal provides executive biographies; e-mail addresses; work histories; executive compensation; board positions (past and present); and other useful information. The terminal is only accessible in person in the Business Center.
Select the company you are researching by typing in the company's common stock ticker, then press EQUITY and then GO. Next, type MGMT for information on board members and notable executives. - Mergent Intellect
Mergent Intellect is an expansive directory database that includes more than 100 million private US, Canadian and global businesses, more than 6000 US public companies and over 200 million residents and local businesses, with previous addresses and allowing for reverse telephone lookups. It has job search and executive search capabilities and a multifaceted advanced search functionality.
