Vault
Vault is another database with sections for cover letters and resume writing advice. It is a premier career database. Start by logging in by clicking on the link below and using your NYPL library card and PIN. First, create an account and save your information on your profile. Take advantage of the Resumes Advice Vault Guides, which are ebooks you can download. Click on the Career Advice tab to view samples of resumes and cover letters, watch videos, and get tips for writing an effective resume and cover letter. You may view samples of resumes and cover letters and download them as PDF or Word Docs.

Resumes Advice Vault Guides
One of Vault's main strengths is access to the Guides, which are ebooks that you can download. Click on the Guides tab, and on the left side, locate the Resumes guides under the Advice Guides heading. Click on the title or the picture of either of the resume guides. On the next screen, click on the option View Now and then click on Download. You will be prompted to enter your email address (the email address you used to create this database's account). Lastly, the guide will be downloaded as a PDF.
Cover Letters
Click on the Career Advice tab and scroll down to Cover Letter Advice to view sample cover letters, watch videos, and get tips for writing an effective cover letter.
