Harlem Youth Opportunities Unlimited (HARYOU) was an initiative that was established in the 1960s by the Harlem Neighborhood Association, Inc. to address the needs of Black youth. The Schomburg Clipping files has a series of files that captures the work done by HARYOU and its various programs including training opportunities, instruction in the performing arts, Project Up-Lift, and others. We have selected materials from clippings across HARYOU's files to highlight in this guide.
