Schomburg Clipping File Research Guide: Negro Actors Guild

The Negro Actor's Guild of America, Inc. was a welfare and benevolent service organization for Black performers that was founded in the 1930s and disbanded in 1981. The clippings in the Guild's file contains ephemera that documents this organization over decades. An archival collection for the Negro Actor's Guild is held in the Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Books Division.
